Seas and oceans cover 71% of our planet's surface and are a key ally in combating climate change. A healthy sea means a healthy planet, so by caring for the Earth and its oceans, we are also caring for people. That’s why ISDIN is committed to rejuvenating the Mediterranean.
The sea that witnessed our birth
The Mediterranean saw our birth and, since 1975, has inspired us with its beauty, wealth of species, and its unique ecosystem, one of a kind in the world. This is why we want to rejuvenate it and ensure that future generations continue to enjoy its warm and welcoming waters.
Threats
Our Mediterranean Sea faces major threats, such as acidification, warming, and plastic waste.
The latter is a significant challenge. Every day, 730 tons of plastic are dumped into the Mediterranean Sea*.

Magic - At ISDIN, we are committed to helping reverse this situation
Through ISDIN’s Fusion Water Magic, we have made a commitment to our sea: each unit sold of this sunscreen will help remove the equivalent of its packaging weight in plastic from the seas and oceans, including our Mediterranean Sea.

Since 2023, we have collected 500 tons of plastic through the sales of Fusion Water Magic.
*Under the agreement between ISDIN and Gravity Wave, this organization has collected 500 tons of plastic on behalf of ISDIN since 2023. This amount was calculated based on sales estimates for products in the Fusion Water Magic family during 2025, conducted at the beginning of the year.
