Information about Generative AI

General Information on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI)

1. What is Generative AI?

Generative AI is a branch of AI that helps create or modify content. It employs advanced models to produce images, audio, video, and text.

Generative AI systems are trained on large amounts of data. To generate new content, AI models learn to identify patterns and relationships within the data based on instructions.

For example, we can ask a generative AI tool to create an image of a group of people or to generate a podcast featuring the voices of two people conversing. The images or voices generated by AI systems can represent people, objects, places, entities, or events, and although they may appear real, they do not exist.

2. Why is it Important to Label Such Content?

We are aware that the content generated by these AI systems is highly realistic and can be challenging to distinguish from real content.

At the Bluewave Alliance (BWA) we are committed to the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence and strive to be transparent about the use of such tools. It is important to us that when you interact with content created using generative AI, you are aware of it. For this reason, we will inform you whenever our content has been created or modified using generative AI tools.

3. How Do We Identify Content Generated with AI at the BWA?

Videos, photos, or audio files that you may encounter on our website, application, or other channels like social media, and which have been generated using AI tools and could lead you to believe they are real content, will bear the label "Generated or Modified with AI." Our goal is to be transparent and ensure you are aware whenever we use generative AI to create this content.

4. When Do We Label AI-Generated Content at the BWA?

Realistic images, videos, or audio files created or modified by the BWA using AI and shared on our website, application, or other media like social networks will be labeled "Generated or Modified with AI" or similar information (depending on the platform).

Examples of AI-generated content we label include:

  • A video showing two people conversing.
  • A podcast with AI-generated voices.
  • An image of a group of people.

In some cases, we may use AI tools for purposes that do not create any confusion for the user regarding the authenticity or accuracy of the generated content, such as translating a text or subtitling a video. In such instances, we will not include the "Generated or Modified with AI" label, as we believe there is no risk or potential confusion for you.

Finally, we want to inform you that all content or text generated using AI tools by the BWA will always be reviewed by humans before publication.
