Bluewave Alliance is co-organizing the “Participatory Science for Ocean” Hackathon in Nice during the UN Ocean Conference 2025, promoting innovative solutions for ocean protection. The event will bring together students, researchers, and citizens from around the world to advance participatory science.

On the occasion of the UN Ocean Conference in Nice in June 2025, Bluewave Alliance is launching a global call to students, researchers, and committed citizens to take part in the international Hackathon "Participatory Science forOcean."

 

Co-organized with the University Côte d’Azur, the Alliance Française of Nice, and the NGO Objectif Sciences International, this event will take place from June 3 to 12,2025, in parallel with the United Nations Ocean Conference. Over nine afternoons, participants will work on real solutions to preserve marine ecosystems, combining citizen science, innovation, and social engagement.

 

The hackathon is open to young researchers, entrepreneurs, students, and ocean lovers from around the world who want to contribute ideas and develop impactful projects. It is a unique opportunity to connect, learn, improve your French, and take concrete action for the future of our seas.
