This week, Bluewave Alliance participated in INFARMA 2025, Spain’s leading congress for pharmacists, held this year at Fira Barcelona. The organization was present in the congress's Sustainability Area to reinforce its commitment —and that ofISDIN, its main supporter— to the conservation and regeneration of theMediterranean Sea.

During the event, Bluewave Alliance presented SeaSpore, an innovative project developed in collaboration with Ocean Ecostructures that merges science, art, and technology to restore marine ecosystems and raise public awareness about the importance of ocean protection. SeaSpore’s living sculptures not only act as artificial reefs, but also collect scientific data on marine biodiversity.

In addition, Bluewave Alliance showcased its joint work with Gravity Wave, an initiative with which it collaborates to collect plastic from the MediterraneanSea, transforming waste into solutions to reduce environmental impact.

Participation in INFARMA provided a key opportunity to raise awareness of these projects, connect with professionals in the field, and foster new alliances. Bluewave Alliance used the event to call on attendees to join the movement, support theSeaSpore project, and help restore the health and beauty of the Mediterranean.

Because only together can we make a real impact.
