Bluewave Alliance and Volvo Ditevo Join Forces for Mediterranean Protection
Bluewave Alliance and Volvo Ditevo unite to protect the Mediterranean during Bluewave DAYS 2025. Snorkeling and waste collection activities at Sant Sebastià Beach, Barcelona, raise awareness about ocean protection
On May 31st, during Bluewave DAYS 2025, Bluewave Alliance and Volvo Ditevo came together for a day of awareness and action at Sant Sebastià Beach in Barcelona. More than 40 people, including employees, families, and volunteers, took part in snorkeling activities guided by marine biologists, where they had the opportunity to learn about the biodiversity of the Barcelona coastline.
The event also included a cleanup activity, where participants removed waste from the sand and breakwaters, directly contributing to marine conservation. This collaboration highlights Volvo Ditevo's commitment to ocean protection, joining Bluewave Alliance to support Bluewave DAYS, an event aimed at raising public awareness about the challenges our seas face.
This initiative emphasizes the importance of partnerships between businesses, organizations, and the community to protect the Mediterranean and promote the regeneration of its ecosystems. The day reaffirms that every action counts and that working together is essential to ensuring a more sustainable future for our oceans.

Bluewave Alliance hosts Summer School at Port Olímpic, Barcelona
In July 2025, Bluewave Alliance and the IED organized a Summer School focused on innovation, design, and branding at Barcelona's Port Olímpic. Students collaborated with the scientific project Observadores del Mar (Sea Observers), creating creative proposals to communicate the importance of protecting 30% of the ocean by 2030.
