SeaWilding Conference 2025: Joining forces to restore 30% of the oceans by 2030

Under the title “The Future of Our Ocean”, the SeaWilding Conference 2025 has brought together researchers, experts and global leaders in Barcelona to transform knowledge into action. La Bluewave Alliance has played an active role in this meeting, whose strategic goal is the restoration of 30% of our oceans by the year 2030, reaffirming the power of science and collaboration at the service of marine life.
The conference allowed us to learn from references such as Carlos Duarte, Zafer Kizilkaya, Carlos Mallo or Josep Lluís Pelegrí. Their interventions emphasized that the health of the planet depends on a collective and empathetic response to the challenges of the marine environment.
A boost for young talent
In parallel with the main sessions, the headquarters of the Bluewave Alliance in the Olympic Port became the stage for Ocean Career Program of Bluejobs. This meeting, designed for young people who seek to orient their professional future towards the marine environment, provided an essential dose of energy and commitment to the sector. Hosting this initiative allowed the alliance to connect directly with those who will lead conservation in the coming decades.
