Despite being the most polluted and overfished sea in the world, the Mediterranean is home to incredible biodiversity. In this series, we will show how Marine Protected Areas are helping to restore and protect this environment.
Our project is not just about telling stories; it is about helping society understand the need to act. While the scientific community and the UN have set a goal of protecting 30% of the Mediterranean by 2030, achieving this goal requires that we all work together as one. Many species call the Mediterranean their home, and we are just one of them. Our goal is to spread the message and show everyone the incomparable beauty of our sea and the imminent loss we face if we don't act now.
