This autumn, Studio 46 Barcelona and Martin Sky Art Management will continue their partnership with Bluewave Alliance by presenting two exhibitions curated by Martin Sky at the Bluewave Alliance space in Port Olímpic, Barcelona.

In September, the season will open with the solo exhibition by JJ Walker, “Surrealism Meets the Sea”, in which the artist explores his fascination with the human condition. His works invite us to reflect on our relationship with the sea and the natural environment. The exhibition will open on September 9 and will remain on view until September 21.

In November, the program continues with the group exhibition “The True Blue Gold: The Veins of Planet Earth”, featuring works by Juliana Plexxo, Joan Barbarà, and Cory James Jacobsen. These pieces, first presented in Paris as part of a satellite event of Art Basel, will now be exhibited with a renewed focus on the profound connection between water and life. The exhibition offers a poetic and visual reflection on this essential element, comparing its flow to the blood that runs through and sustains life on our planet. The show will be open to visitors from November 11 to November 16.
