A lover of the sea since he was a child, Enric (Kike) Ballesteros (Barcelona, 1958) has managed to make his dream come true: to live by and for the sea. Thanks to his childhood summers in Tossa de Mar, he learned to know and respect the aquatic environment.

With this premise, the ethologist, communicator specialized in marine mammals, National Geographic storyteller and dreamer of the Bluewave Alliance, Alex Avello, has presented his latest editorial project: Keni, the Little Whale.
Bluewave Alliance hosts Summer School at Port Olímpic, Barcelona
In July 2025, Bluewave Alliance and the IED organized a Summer School focused on innovation, design, and branding at Barcelona's Port Olímpic. Students collaborated with the scientific project Observadores del Mar (Sea Observers), creating creative proposals to communicate the importance of protecting 30% of the ocean by 2030.
