MARCH 21, 2024

We organized the "Enbluement" event as part of the Ocean Decade Conference 2024.

The event will offer valuable contributions to Ocean Decade Challenge 10: changing humanity's relationship with the ocean, helping to overcome those barriers to behavioral change that are necessary for meaningful change in humanity's relationship with the ocean.

The Bluewave Alliance together with the Blue Genes community of the Institut de Ciències del Mar - CSIC and the Ajuntament de Barcelona, present the Enbluement event, a unique event that fuses science and art to strengthen our connection with the ocean organized within the program of the Ocean Decade Conference that this 2024 will be held in Barcelona.

Enbluement will take place on April 9 at the facilities of the Institut de Ciències del Mar and the Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta. This experience is divided into two parts. In the 1st part, you will be able to immerse yourself in a workshop at the Institut de Ciències del Mar, where experts will discuss the fundamental role of the ocean in our planet. From art and music to traditional wisdom and water sports, this workshop will offer a complete and enriching vision of the ocean. Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot. In Part 2, we invite you to join in an exciting "correaigües" along the Passeig Marítim, where you will experience the vibrant rhythms of a percussion band as we celebrate our connection to the ocean in an inspiring "school of fish" choreography.

Don't miss the opportunity to be part of this community dedicated to promoting positive change for our seas and oceans. Register now for Enbluement and be part of the transformation towards a more sustainable and ocean conscious future: https://forms.gle/81nThXTHizEGhacz7
