Alliances for the Mediterranean: Bluewave Alliance and ISDIN join the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation for its 10th anniversary

IE University in Madrid hosted the 10th-anniversary celebration of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation - Spain, a key event that brought together institutional, scientific, and business leaders to discuss major global environmental challenges. The gathering featured Juan Naya, CEO of ISDIN and President of the Bluewave Alliance, who attended on behalf of both organizations to reaffirm their joint commitment to ocean health.

During the sustainability roundtable, Naya emphasized that protecting biodiversity and fighting climate change require cross-cutting alliances capable of connecting science, businesses, and citizens. In this context of mutual collaboration, the SeaSpore project was highlighted—an initiative that exemplifies how innovation and technology can unite to drive the active regeneration of Mediterranean ecosystems.

The event concluded with a recognition of the Foundation’s decade of leadership, reinforcing the conviction that strategic cooperation is the only path to scaling positive impact in preserving our blue heritage.
