The Bluewave Alliance Space was transformed into a setting where art and conservation converge to deliver a message of urgency and hope. The inauguration of “Real Gold: The Veins of Planet Earth,” the new proposal by artist Juliana Plexxo, offered a profound reflection on the incalculable value of water ecosystems and their vital role in global survival.

The exhibition, organized in collaboration with Studio 46, sought to shift our daily perspective of the planet toward a place of greater respect and awareness. Through her signature style, Plexxo reinterpreted water, the sea, and the ocean as the true "gold" of the Earth, defending the thesis that the health of these "veins" is what guarantees the balance of life.

Art as a bridge to conservation

This initiative is part of the Bluewave Alliance's mission to bring the protection of the marine environment closer to the general public through inspiring and disruptive languages. The choice of the organization's space in the Port Olímpic to host this project highlights the importance of creating meeting points where aesthetics align with environmental purpose.

During the presentation event, the role of Studio 46 was highlighted as a strategic ally in promoting projects that humanize conservation and make it accessible through artistic creation.

A call for collective awareness

The opening day featured a wide representation of the community committed to the sea, reinforcing the conviction that cultural initiatives are fundamental tools for awakening a more attentive gaze toward the natural wealth of the Mediterranean.

With “Real Gold,” Juliana Plexxo and the Bluewave Alliance have succeeded in consolidating a space for dialogue where the viewer not only admires the work but also rediscovers their own connection and responsibility toward the planet's blue heritage.
